DVK Central Library is offering a 'Training Cum Placement Selection Programme' at Bangalore. It is an initiative of DVK Central Library for library and information science freshers.
Who & How can apply: Those who completed MLISc can apply, on or before 20 June 2017 by sending a self-written application letter and CV with passport size photo,to the E-Mail ID:dvklibrarytraining@gmail.com
Selection dynamics: DVK Central Library informs the shortlisted candidates (through e-mail) for a walking interview.
Based on the interview three candidates (each) will be selected for one-month rigours training at DVK Central Library.
From the three trained candidates, there is a possibility that educational institutions will select one smart candidate for their institution, offering a salary of Rs 20,000/- per month.
Regarding payments: The selected candidates (for rigours training)
will get a stipend of Rs 8,000/-. No TA, DA, etc. is paid during the 'Training Cum Placement Selection Programme' at any point of time.
Advantages: Candidates will get good exposure at Bangalore city. It may help them to dream about big institutions. DVK Central Library is famous for many things including rigours training for good placements, opportunity to gain experience with traditional as well as modern library systems, personality development for library professionals and it has a good legacy of excellent service, since 2004.
